Miles Davis is easily one of the most influential, innovative, and prolific artists in

the history of music, let alone jazz.

He was an artist that constantly reinvented himself. Over an almost fifty year period (from the 1940s to the 1990s), he released tons of studio and live albums, with different bands, inventing multiple different styles of jazz. Many of the musicians that played in his bands would go on to form their own projects.
