Every time Marji turned people where making out or smoking. After the party Marji had problems taking off her make up so she went to Julie's room to ask for make up remover. However, before she even open the door she heard noises. She heard Julie adn a guy having sex. Marji got so nervious she ran to the couch and sat there sweating. I think that marji felt a little weird of being in this place because see has never seen things like this for starters and in her country she has never seen someone who is not scared to be with a lot of guys and just say it like that. marji never know that julie goes like that. In this chapter marji starts to see how back in her country it was war and voilence but in Austrian it's about sex and boy's. she see's that her and julie have nothing alike and that Iranian and Austrian teenagers are different. I think that it was hard for her to leave her parents and to come to a country where see know's nothing, not even speak it. It would be really hard for me. Now she is living with a friend that she love's very much. She is very cozy there. Now she is going to get to know who julie is. Julie like's a lot of older guys and likes to be with them. on the other hand marji like to do her homework and to be good and nice.

Alvin17- In this chapter, Julie begins to act strangely to Marjane. Julie takes Marjane to somewhere where everyone was making out and touching each other. Marjane felt really weird. She had even found out that Julie is a jerk. She treats her Mother rudely, and goes out with many different men. Marjne also finds out that Julie is not the person she had thought she was. European culture is more loose, I guess.
